Hey! My name is Nicole Peskin and I am a Charlotte native. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2001 from Empire Beauty School and have worked in various locations around the Charlotte area. The passion that I have for the industry awards my knowledge of providing ownership to my salon, Creative Layers – Hair & Art Studio. I enjoy being able to take my creative side to new heights and provide my clients with an expertise look that they will enjoy. I am advanced in many different cutting techniques, color applications, and I can produce any style either it being for a special occasion or a night out on the town. I can make it happen!
Taking advanced classes on today’s styles and looks helps me stay motivated in my career.
Throughout my career I have worked in the entertainment industry providing hair and makeup services for actors, actresses, and models. I have worked fashion shows, TV commercials, and on movie sets in hair departments. I have even done my own share of acting and modeling over the years, but my passion lies behind the chair and having the ability to create a form of art through hair. I love what I do and enjoy listening to my clients, so I am able to provide them with an outstanding service. I believe that hair is art and art is a form of creativity that I achieve in life.
