I started figure modeling back in the mid 1990's when I was attending art school. MY view of the body and the art of the figure has nothing to do with weight, cup size, tan lines, sex or age. I find beauty in the body and human form, period. Thus, photographers who value "beauty" with the priority of "tan lines and cup sizes" please pass me by - I am not your model.

Back in art school, I found that many of the models did not know how to present their body in a manner that was confident, interesting, or dynamic to the medium of art we were working with and so I started modeling to show them what modeling was really all about. Modeling is spiritual for me, mindful, and a wonderful fom of expression.

I have modeled for many art mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture and photography. I have had to hold poses for a very long period of time (not my fav)! My favored medium to work with is photography due to the immediacy of a pose but also the ability to accent creativity in a variety of poses and expression in one session. I also enjoy working with tension and using props (working with sticks, fitting into Nature, using natural elements around me) in order to show muscle tone and definition to accent body shape and form.

I enjoy working within Nature but, am excited to work with more avenues of expression with fashion, fitness, lifestyle and other forms of photography. So just because you do not see it here does not mean that I would not enjoy trying another genre. I will be working with artful choices in subject matter and composition. I am not interested in erotic, fetish or sexual. Classic Pin up would be a hoot though!

I have recently modeled for a project that worked with a punk/modern spin-off of classic poses of paintings by the masters. We wore blue wigs, drew (more) tattoos on our bodies, and gave the scene a certain edge that I enjoyed. I enjoyed the whit and irony in the project, and look forward to getting creative in this manner more.

I am a fine artist and a paid model and work with respectful artists only who are professional, use model release forms and on work with/respect my terms that I am also comfortable with. I work with photographers that pay their models accordingly and well. And if I am traveling paid milage as well.

I have two tattoos on my body, one on my back and another on my right foot and lower calf.
