Hi, my name is Yasir and I am a professional photographer (yes, it is an addiction). I was born not long ago … well maybe a little long ago, in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, no I am not Saudi, and yes I know my name is very Arabic :)

Portrait and headshot photography is my passion, but I do sometimes photograph corporate events, product launches and private parties.

As with other things in life, my father taught me the basics of photography, and I am glad that my sons have developed an interest in it as well. Although both of them lean more towards film-making.
History

I picked up my first camera at the age of 16, and I haven’t looked back since. From the early days of developing litho and 35mm film and darkrooms to today’s digital SLRs and Photoshop, and despite my career as a journalist with Business Recorder in Karachi, Pakistan, and later Khaleej Times in Dubai, as well as a five year stint as a PR and Corporate Communications executive with Dubai World, I have kept the fire of my passion for photography burning.
