My name is Rezky Indra Kusuma. I live in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I am a very creative person, not only within myself but my work too! Photography is another art form to me; you can be as creative as possible with a camera as long as you have the ideas! Photography is my calling,and the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane someday. I don’t photograph subjects. I photograph the way they make me feel. For me photography is about the concept, the reasoning behind the image is far more important than the aesthetic value. All my work has a reason, whether to inform, make a statement, discuss or argue, it always seeks to promote a reaction. This particular body of work looks at questioning the fashion industry's idealistic view of beauty, whilst taking inspiration from inspiration itself. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a strange concept. But it’s honest and it’s the best way to describe my approach to the craft. I wrestle with every image I shoot. I assume perfection is possible and I want to wring it out of every picture. If that’s all you ever know about me, it’s enough to say you know me very, very well.
