After attending the prestigious school Istituto Europeo Di Design, Andrea Marino quickly started working in Milan as a fashion photographer. It was there that he would meet “L’ enfant terrible” of Italian fashion, designer Franco Moschino, thanks to his appreciation for Andrea’s work, Franco introduced him to many of his Milanese friends. Among them, notable Vogue Italia’s writer and fashion icon, Anna Piaggi, and top Italian fashion photographer Fabrizio Ferri owner of the legendary Superstudio on via Forcella 13, where Andrea would assist Fabrizio, shooting advertising campaigns for clients such as Valentino.
While working at Superstudio he would meet Alberto Nodolini, art director of Vogue Italia and director of Conde’ Nast’s avant-garde magazine Vanity. For the next 3 years he regularly worked for Vogue Italia with Alberto and at Vanity with art director Luca Stoppini. At the same time a partnership with runway star photographer Bruno Rinaldi would take Andrea for years to come on the road, to shoot pret-a-porter and haute couture fashion shows from Milan to Paris and Rome for magazines such as Amica, Vogue Italia and Donna.
By the mid 1990’s and all the way through the decade, Andrea was a well established fashion photographer in Milan New York Los Angeles and around the world, shooting for top fashion houses and renown publications.
