About Me

I'm currently taking a mix of paid and trade work. If you have an interesting project that benefits my portfolio or has creative merit, I may very well be willing to trade. It never hurts to ask (at worst, you'll get a polite, “no, thanks” - I won't bite your head off for asking). If not, my rates are reasonable, and vary based upon use (eg, personal/portfolio photos cost less than something you intend to sell).

I occasionally have projects for which I can pay you. That usually means I have a client with a specific request, so if you're asking about being paid, please either have a profile with enough detail that I can know if you will be a good fit, or give details about your capabilities in your message.

My goal here is to make art, not money, but equipment is expensive, so I try and make enough to at least balance those costs. The more artistic the project, the more interesting I will find it. In that vein, I primarily shoot artistic nudes and implied nudes. The human form is beautiful, and covering it often (but not always) hides that beauty rather than offering any benefit. I really like shooting bodypaint projects, and have worked with some great bodypaint models, painters, and models who are also painters.

Escort policy: polite escorts are always welcome. I'm certainly not going to treat you with any disrespect, but that does not mean I'll be insulted if you prefer to have an escort for your comfort. I'm more comfortable having a fire extinguisher in my kitchen, even though I don't plan on the house catching fire. It's common sense, and no professional photographer should complain. (seriously - none of us like someone staring over our shoulder while we're trying to be creative, but if a photographer refuses to even let you have an escort in earshot, they are not a professional and should be avoided)

Model releases: if you have a release in mind, please share it before the shoot. I have one that I normally use, which several experienced models have told me is the fairest release they've seen. If you have specific terms for a particular project, let me know in advance.
