Hi,

I'm an experienced professional photographer with a creative mind, an artistic eye and a wealth of technical knowledge, all of which I strive to use to make the best images I can. I'm always trying to make a better photograph than the last one I shot.

I have diverse photographic experience. At one end of the scale I have photographed Miss Wales, Miss U.K., Miss France, Miss Europe and Miss World whilst, at the other, I have produced a four metre wide landscape, photographed from a two-seat aircraft using a view-camera and 7"x 5" sheet film. I've also photographed Prince Charles (as an accredited photographer) and the actress Julie Christie (as a friend).

Over the years my photographs have appeared in numerous 'Glossies', in catalogues and brochures, on advertising posters and product packaging, on boardroom and CEO office walls, on calendars and postcards, in British national and provincial newspapers, and in various French publications.

I now host photography courses each summer at painting-photography-france.com and although I have left the commercial photography stress-fest behind, I am still a 'photographer on-call' in southwest France for Associated Newspapers, London.

Away from my teaching, I have just finished a commission for a book on the history of the Latour-Marliac water-lily nursery and its connection with Claude Monet. The book was published in November 2015 and is available for order from your local bookseller or from Amazon (search for ISBN: 9781870673839).

Currently, I am processing a series of photographs for a book which will portray Bordeaux as the City of Youth and Fashion and I've been working in collaboration with ESMOD France on this. Most of the photos in my portfolio here are taken from the shoots for that project.

I'm also working to produce a new book of mainly black and white images called 'Sense & Sensuality' which will pay 'un petit hommage' to the late, great Helmut Newton. The black and white images you see in my portfolio are from that series. Any models interested in working with me on this should contact me as soon as possible.
