Andreina Duven was born and raised in Venezuela. She grew up with parents that were very involved in the world of art and learned to appreciate it at a very young age. She graduated with a degree in Architecture from the "Universidad Central de Venezuela" at 22. Photography started to become part of her world as she traveled and collected her favorite buildings, streets, plazas and artwork in her personal photo albums. "I would take thousands of photos, it's all I would do the entire trip! I learned to love the cities I visited and their people thru my camera lens. I became a better Architect because of that". She moved to Florida in 1999 and continued practicing Architecture. Her fascination with photography continued growing and becoming more and more of a serious hobby until her husband gave her a professional camera for their 10-year Anniversary gift and right before they went on vacation to New York City. "Everything changed that week; I became obsessed with my camera. I photographed every corner of the city, every face I encountered and every tender moment I saw happening at my friend's family home where I was staying. From that moment on, I knew there was nothing that would fill my spirit as much as Photography. I also discovered that what moved me most, was photographing people"
Andreina came back with plans of becoming a full time photographer. She started studying, attending workshops to learn from the best of the industry (including Sue Bryce, Joe Buissink, Bob and Dawn Davis, Lou Freeman and Lindsay Adler) and dedicating all of her free time to becoming a better artist and finding her true style.

She is now the owner of CREATIVA PHOTO LLC and has left the Architecture world to pursue her career in Fine Art Photography.
