Hey There!

My name is Robert Zelaya, and I'm primarily an Actor based out of New York City. Over the years, however, my colleagues and friends have all told me I should hit up the modeling industry as well. I always expressed an interest, but I never knew exactly how to approach the business. With Model Mayhem, I am hoping to make some meaningful and fantastic connections with other professional models, photographers, and hopefully some casting directors. I'm driven to learn everything about the industry and to work consistently; using M.M. as a facilitator to achieve and conquer.

Being quite new, I am aiming to get into commercial modeling over time. In terms of experience, I have done shoots for headshot photographers such as Billy Bustamante and Josh from Starboard Photography. Using my training in acting is a skill I think is most important for these shoots- I believe I can yield some great results using my acting.

I am fully driven, self-starting, filled with loads of optimism, college educated (B.M. University of Miami), and downright fun. You can guarantee I'm someone who will make your day if we ever work together. I love making people laugh and bringing that energy into the workplace as well. Being a Hispanic/Ethnically ambiguous type, I naturally love to bring passionate energy into my work.
