Pittsburgh’s next rising superstar, Prinse Tay, is only 19 years of age and has what it takes to be on top. He is the CEO and Founder of Root 28 Records and "budding" clothing line Root 28 Clothing. His father, a musician himself and has always been a huge inspiration in Prinse’s life.

Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Nipsey Hussle and Jay-Z have been other sources of encouragement for this young rapper. “P. Diddy sold Sean Jean for $100 million and Jay-Z sold Rocawear for 204 million cash, which shows that music and fashion are intertwined on the bottom line”, says Prinse Tay.

"Once my dad took me to ID Labs while he was recording with Wiz Khalifa, and to see Wiz's success inspired me to work hard", says Prinse. Before he was a musician he was a poet. His passion of writing poetry transitioned into rap.

Prinse was selected for the:
• WYEP 91.3 Reimagine Media Project
• Performed at the 3 Rivers Arts Festival
• Nominated at the PUMA (Pittsburgh Underground Music Awards)
• Featured in Pittsburgh hip-hop publication popgh.com.

Currently, he’s working on promoting his first single entitled, "15412." Prinse is also very busy on his forthcoming debut album entitled "The Coronation Vol. 1" available 4/12/2018.
