Photography can easily be interpreted as the art of capturing a moment, but for me photography is all about creating a moment.

The image is for me a manifestation of an experience. By creating these moments I get outlet for my creative thoughts and I get to share them with others. One of my greatest pleasures is to hear other peoples interpretations of my pictures, and how that can create “new life” to the images. As a photographer my task is to paint a picture with light. This makes me a painter, my brush is my camera, my paint is light and my canvas is the world.

I love everything that is blue and I'm easily inspired by the works of others. Combining inspiration from others and my own imagination into a picture is rewarding for me. Photography is therefore more than just to snap a picture, it starts in my imagination long before I press the shutter button. When I am shooting 2 minutes for me is really 2 hours for others.

Since I'm directing my own pictures, which requires careful planning and preparation, suitable genres for me would therefore be commercial-, art- and portrait- photography.
