Hello my name is Rick Lockwood. I am an experienced photographer looking to get a fresh start in and around San Antonio. I spent many years in So Cal doing portrait and concert work with film. I am currently working on a new portfolio and I want to experiment with as many different styles and genres of digital photography as possible. I'm looking to do more outdoor on location shots, but I am open to anything as I have all the studio equipment needed.
I like to shoot on the week-end , but I can work around anything with enough notice. I will only be doing shoots on a TF basis if I need the concept for my portfolio. Please send me a message with details on when and what type of shots you want to create. I am a professional photographer with a wide variety of photo credits covering many different areas of photography but I am looking to help you either start your port or enhance the one you have.
Things I will do:

YES I give you a CD of all the images
YES I will retouch 4 images
YES I allow you to have input and voice your ideas
YES I never shoot or post images you are not comfortable with
YES I like to meet first or have a phone conversation before we shoot
YES I need your valid email address, and you get mine :-)
YES I do like to make shoots fun for all involved

If I contact you to shoot I will do TFP session but if I don't my rates are very reasonable.

I prefer friends as escorts. Your husband/boyfriend/father will not bother "ME"... but they can often make the model self conscious. Glamour shoots aren't the best place for them, but as long as they stay quiet and out of the way,,, you can bring a marching band for all I care. On a shoot that you are paying me... bring whatever or whomever you want. On TFP shoots, escorts will be forced into indebted servitude (free assistants) for the duration of the shoot. If they can't carry something, don't bring' em. On paid commercial shoots, they can transport, but will need to be outside of the shooting area. On a commercial shoot with two assistants, an art director, and a makeup artist, and a fashion stylist all in the same working area... there is little opportunity for me to have my way with you. So, to repeat in a nutshell ;
Escorts are allowed under ALL these conditions:
1. They do not interfere with the shoot (this includes voicing opinions or preventing an agreed-to shot).
2. They help with the shoot. That is, help carry equipment, hold light stands or reflectors, etc.
3. Makes me aware when "behind the scene" shots are being taken.

I require a signed Model Release for TFT (Trade For Time, no commercial use of images) or Paid (where I’m paying the model, model releases her rights to the photos) photo shoots. Models under 18 years of age are required to bring a parent or guardian to the shoot to witness the model signing a model release.

If you hire me for photography services I will provide you a signed Photographer Release giving you 100% rights to the photos.
