I'm an amateur photographer, and I mostly shoot film, primarily black and white, though I also shoot color film and occasionally digital.

My aim is to create art, and to have a show within the next couple years. I'm interested in capturing a bit more than a headshot when I work with a model - something that reveals the subject's personality, hints at their soul, captures a moment.

I'm recently inspired by the work of portrait photographer Arnold Newman and fashion photographer Richard Avedon, as well as Irving Penn, Patrick DeMarchelier, and Henri Cartier-Bresson. I plan to spend the next couple years stealing their ideas and see where I end up as an artist.

This is for the moment a hobby - I make a good living elsewhere, and I'm only interested in exploring and developing my skill, hopefully creating art along the way.
