About Me

As you can see from my portfolio on here, I prefer working in black and white, and I still prefer using real film, and developing my own pictures. I do sometimes use digital, but I get a greater sense of accomplishment from film.

Was influenced by a friend into black and white film work in 1994, but didn't begin until 1996, after his death.

I enjoy working with outdated and long expired photographic paper. One never knows the outcome, and oftentimes it ends in failure. But sometimes the success is phenomenal. I have a large collection of expired paper from 1910-1950 just waiting to be used.....
