I am interested in images changing medium multiple times. Progressive slide projections made into a movie or a film image onto a computer that is made back into film. I think that I am mostly a technological dissident. I am not a camera operator per se but I love the sound of film cameras as they automatically advance and I fetishize the capture of images and film. I am most engaged when my art direction creates a key moment of " wow that looks cool" usually it is through the hunting of natural light fragments or studio lighting gags, props and the models natural action.I would describe a lot of my ideas as Dark Twee. I have found myself combining erotic body images with nature in multiple and exposure overlap as well as dance and movement in light. I find hurried creation frustrating but very much value professionalism and friendly easy going collaboration.
