The opportunity to make someone feel beautiful is one I can't pass up! Iconic images from the supermodel era of the 90's are etched in my mind and are still what I think of as the height of gorgeousness.

I come from a fine arts background having been classically trained as well as having earned a degree in drawing and painting. Makeup is an extension of what I already know and love. Because of my background in the classical figurative art realm, I will always gravitate towards timeless looks and the strong technical foundations of makeup as an art. And that's why artists like Kevyn Aucoin really inspire me. But Mary Greenwell also really sticks in my mind as someone who goes beyond technique and almost feels makeup and not just does makeup. Her modern yet strong approach to makeup is something I aspire to.

In Spring 2014, I graduated from makeup school and have been testing since then. I plan to have my portfolio full in about 6 months from now (2015). My goal right now is to work in advertising, and other print mediums as well as bridal and special events. That's why I've joined Model Mayhem!
