SO. Straight up, i love photography.
I have since i was young - and hijacked the family point and shoot film camera.
After some (terrible) fashion shoots with friends and documenting everyday life,
I came to learn the value of photography being another medium i could use to explore the ideas of expression.

I became engulfed in experimenting with different lighting and poses through self portraiture,
and still practice this to this day.
Ironically, the thought of someone else taking photos of me is anxiety inducing,
but when taking self portraits, i feel free to express everything or nothing at all and get experimental / evolve my work until my heart is content (in a pressure free environment with no guidelines).
It's during these moments, i feel empowered, beautiful and strong.

This is something that is important for me to pass onto the people i photograph.
I want them to walk away with a sense of a new found confidence, empowerment, and seeing their beauty in a way they might not have before.
I see it has a special gift to be able to provide others with experiences like this.

When it comes to my photo shoots / sessions, ill often be found shooting on location, amongst the elements - Its a rare thing if i haven't ended up in the water at some point, or laying on sand or dirt during a session.
Being an an artist and conceptual photographer, i focus heavily on shooting people and nature in ways that are sometimes dark though beautiful, abstract and natural, thriving on the use of natural light.
I seek the inner beauty in all things in life.

Along with portrait based work, i enjoy working within other realms of photography such as but not limited to; Food photography, Band photography, Fashion photography, Social media content and Business promotion. I am open to discussing all ideas.
