Hi, we are Joe & Kathleen! We are an internationally-traveling wedding photography studio based in Knoxville, TN, made up of Joe and Kathleen, a husband and wife wedding photography team, and Erin, our associate wedding photographer. Since 2008, we have photographed more than 150 weddings.

About Joe

Joe is the lead photographer at JoPhoto. He is the creative, visionary, and chief lighting guru! Before JoPhoto, Joe worked at an advertising agency for 10 years. He directed, shot and edited over 200 local, regional, and national television commercials -- including working with 2 governors and a U.S. president along the way. Joe has produced award-winning results for advertising agencies, magazines, publishing companies, celebrities, non-profit organizations, and television for more than 13 years.

Joe combines his advertising agency experience with his passion for photography through JoPhoto. His expertise with indoor and outdoor lighting, creativity, and “movie magic” as he calls it, adds the “wow” factor to your photos.

About Kathleen

Kathleen is the other half of JoPhoto. She is the organizer, business-thinker and planner! She uses her background in journalism, public relations, and digital marketing to help tell the story of your day. Since 2000, Kathleen has worked in public relations, event planning, and digital media for both nonprofit and for-profit startup companies.

Kathleen combines her experience with passion for photography to beautifully capture the story of your wedding day so you can enjoy, relive, and cherish your wedding photos forever.
