To me a good picture is one where a glance is not enough because something in the photo grabs you and holds your attention.
My aim is to create images that inspire some sort of emotion and thought. I prefer positive emotions, but even someone hating a photo of mine is better than them being disinterested in it.
I am constantly seeing unusual aspects of everyday things and I used to focus on those. I love photos that are powerful and challenging. If you look at a photo for a while and then suddenly see something in it that fundamentally changes your perception of it, that's a brilliant photo!
I've found sexually provocative images to be very powerful and instantly attractive so I try and find a way to make images that do not quite meet normal expectations for mainstream glamour shots. Fetish shots are a great way to do this.
I am an amateur and I can't pay models so I'm looking for models who want to do shoots because they love the genre, are excited to be part of something creative, or just want to increase their own portfolio.
