I enjoy sports and bodies-in-motion photography. I try to capture not just the moment in the game but also the emotions of the athlete. To me, that's what makes sports and competition so much more appealing -- seeing the emotions of the athlete, feeling how she felt at that moment.
I also enjoy capturing body movements, and freezing the "action" so it can be admired. The movement could be through sports or dance. Our eyes miss so much of the action and what an athlete/dancer goes through. I find it exhilarating to catch that action as art.
I'm hoping to work with models who see that sports are not physical competitions, but also battles of wills. My goal is to have my photos inspire people to workout and adopt a healthier and fitter life style, and to appreciate the beauty of bodies in motion.
