Hello and welcome to my side of the internet! If you have not already guessed it, I go by Alias (ey-lee-uh s). Short, sweet and to the point – and extremely ironic; you are probably thinking. I choose to go by a pseudonym because of how irritatingly common my given name is. Fun fact: My real name was the #1 most common girls name in the year I was born, and I wish I was kidding.

Let us get down to the nitty-gritty details, shall we?

I am a twenty-one-year-old aspiring tattoo, alternative fashion, and costume model located in the fabulous “city of sin” – Las Vegas, Nevada. My sense of fashion is influenced by my “tomboyish” personality and I am known for being rather androgynous. However, I am beginning to broaden my horizons a bit as I work with more photographers. I am learning to step out of my comfort zone and experiment more. It has truly been a learning experience.

I got into modeling on a whim. I never wanted to be a runway or glamour model in any sense. Nevertheless, I decided to give alternative modeling a try after several of my friends and co-workers attempted to give me a push into the modeling world. I participated in my first photo-shoot on December 10, 2013 and never looked back. Modeling came naturally to me and while I have a long way to go in acquiring experience and skills in this field, it has truly become an artistic release for me. Currently, I only model part-time, but I would love to eventually be able to do this full-time and be able to travel.

I am an introvert by nature and can be a tad bit socially awkward. I work well in this field, however, because when I am one-on-one with the photographer, I begin to vibe with their art style. With a little bit of direction, I am able to get into my groove and dance along with the camera clicks. I am very down to earth and I am an easygoing model to work with. I respect my working relationships with the photographers I have met and those I will meet. I am not the “prima donna” type in the slightest. So, do not worry about having to put up with a diva.

In a nutshell: I am a nerdy, gamer chick, and book fanatic. I give 110% during my shoots and have an “up for anything” type of personality. If you want to work with someone who is a bit of an oddball, but enjoys taking direction just as much as contributing during shoots, then I am your gal. If you are looking for dresses and high heels, then the feel free to move onto the next model in your area.
