A portrait is a way of communicating who you are, to a selected audience, who haven’t met you yet. Although this may have a corporate feel to it, your audience form relationships with people, not companies.

Usually most people spend a great deal of time, effort and care, to build their career summaries, supporting references or testimonials.

Yet the portrait, or headshot, remains an afterthought.

Your portrait should capture your audience; your image should speak volumes… It should be professionally sensitive, yet emotionally engaging. It should make prospective clients need to reach out to you, to build that partnership with you.

People have stories to tell, and this is communicated through the face. Portraits have always been a way of starting the conversation, and this has been a fascination of mine as long as I can remember.
