About Me

My background is as a landscape photographer, having received numerous awards, been displayed in multiple galleries, and published on CD and book covers and in magazine spreads (see my website).  I subsequently did a number of nude shoots both indoors and outdoors (see my port here).  After doing some dreary commercial work and leaving San Francisco, I completely lost interest in shooting and barely picked up my camera.

Almost a decade later (i.e. now), I'm back in San Francisco and shooting once again.  I was approached by a model on MM for a nude shoot and decided to say yes.  I believe one reason I lost interest in landscape photography was the absence of people in my photographs.  I scouted out some locations in Marin and set up some areas in my new home in San Francisco for shooting and shot those with Aleksa.  We were both very pleased with the results (see her album in my port, which I am still in the process of processing and uploading).  I enjoyed doing both art style and pinup style depending on the location and the mood.

I am available for TFP or paid shoots depending on experience and needs.  While I do understand that models need to pay the rent, I shoot primarily for artistic non-commercial purposes, so shelling out big bucks to do a shoot can sometimes be hard for me to justify.  I have sold some prints at an art gallery, but that doesn't pay my rent either.  If you're not interested in shooting TFP, i.e. you have no interest in sharing ownership of these prints, I might be willing to pay a reduced rate as a compromise.

I'm a very talented and professional photographer and I'm sure you'll be happy with our work (see my port and references).  My ideal partner in crime would be someone whose primary interest is also to participate in the creative process of making art together.  My other creative pursuit is music (I play electric guitar), so bringing along an instrument to jam with is a plus (see Aleksa album for shots in my home music studio).
