I was fascinated by light and shadow since I began my journey into this world. My grandfather introduced me to photography at the early age of five. I can still remember the red light, the smell of chemicals, the negative projections, and all the magic of his dark room... Today, in the midst of the computer era, of the digital chips, Photoshop, large size prints, and web folios, my passion is still alive as it was thirty years ago. Although I finished an M.Ed. and not an M.F.A., and my paid job is in education and not photography, I love to lose myself behind the camera's viewfinder as often as possible, especially when shooting portraits of any kind. I like working in a variety of settings and with expressive models of any age. In my free time I shoot weddings, proms, parties, and other events. I like the convenience of working in the studio when possible, especially because I can play more with the light, but nature also inspires me with its strength and freedom. This is why I combine the best of both worlds sometimes and shoot outdoor portraits.

I am joining this site to improve my work and build my portfolio. I want to learn from all the awesome artists here and to collaborate with great models. Who knows, maybe one day I will become a pro!
