I have a BFA from York University. I studied a more classical approach to painting with the renowned teacher and portraitist, Michael John Angel and completed my training in Florence, Italy at the Atelier Cecil-Graves. I have been in numerous solo and group shows over the years and has been a finalist in several portrait competitions including the Kingston Prize and the Portrait Society of America's International Competition.
I am involved with a group of professional artists who meet weekly in Ottawa throughout the year to work from life with models and am actively looking for new models for both long pose portrait and figure work. I also am a instructor for the city of Ottawa and will hire models for both portrait and life class sittings.
