It wasn’t until I decided to do my own makeover which triggered this amazing passion that has follow me ever since, but it took me years of time and dedication to learn the art of makeup. I continue to grow and the skills just keep adding to my experience. I’m a self- taught, certified makeup artist with a fashion and costume background. I find inspiration everywhere. I love to assist photographers with their model’s makeup decisions and wardrobe. Around Halloween, I make costumes for myself and friends, which has included use of creating facial hair and use of prosthetics, amongst full face makeup. My main focus now is makeup, but I plan to take costume design to the next level in my future endeavors.
MY personal artistry is defined as bold and daring but I can create anything from soft and natural to dramatic and Avant-garde. I’ve been described by photographers and customers as professional, friendly and charismatic. My five years + of professional experience in addition to my years of personal experience in makeup artistry has given me the expertise that customers can trust. I do makeup for any event you can think of, and I will make you look your best. I have a proven ability to understand customers’ expectations and communicate effectively to handle/address your needs and concerns. I strive for open communication between myself and my clients, clarifying different points at each makeup session to get the requested results. I am constantly researching and studying the market regularly to stay up-to-date regarding new makeup trends, techniques, and beauty products. I have advanced makeup application knowledge, to create the best look dependent on different facial structures, skin types, and skin tones. Deep understanding of colors and can determine what color would suit a particular skin tone. I excel at ensuring good working conditions by following safety and hygiene regulations. Special skills include corrective beauty makeovers, bridal and portrait makeup, high-fashion, casualty effects, glamour, and full/partial body makeup. Along with my artistry, my reputation with artists to create a good working environment
and my reliability creates a positive experience for whatever event you want to look your best. I’m based out of Sacramento, CA and willing to travel.
