My name is Mattisen, or Mattie for short, many friends and family members over the years have encouraged me to give modeling a try but I never thought it was realistic for me to do. My family never stopped trying to convince me to give it a shot but still I never knew where to begin. But just a few months ago I was approached by a photographer and was asked if I would be willing to model for him for free because he is simply trying to improve his photography skills. After modeling for him a few times I realized how strongly interested I was in pursuing this avenue in life. Since then I have been doing loads and loads of research and realized I fit nearly all of the size requirements for the areas of modeling I am interested in. I live an hour outside of Boston, Massachusetts and plan to look into some agencies there this summer.
But first I need to put together a fantastic portfolio!
I am in the middle of working with the same photographer creating a portfolio, which is why not all of the photos I have uploaded are modeling photos just yet. But they will be coming asap I promise!
All in all, I am interested in any sort of modeling but I will not shoot nudes, I will be pursuing this avenue in life by staying classy.
Since the photographer I am working with now will mostly be taking all natural photographs with just different sceneries and clothing, I would very much like to find a photographer that will help me shoot a variety of different kinds/styles of photographs for my growing portfolio.
