Out of a creative, and keen eye for beauty in details, Donielle Avery Simons formed Avery Allure Makeup Artistry.


She was inspired to go into business for herself armed with a Bachelor of Science degree and experience working for other successful small business owners. Although a fresh face in the world of make-up, she is not a stranger to the beauty industry having served as Guest Services Coordinator for two Salon and Day Spas for over five years.

Donielle is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County, received her certification from Rain Makeup Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada, and holds a certificate as a Certified Eyelash Extension Specialist from the Aveda Institute. She has also studied under world renowned makeup Artist, Martin Pretorius. Her experience working in fast-pace environments at events such as Fashion Week, on video and photo shoot sets, and with bridal parties proves her ability to adapt to all occasions and deliver
