My name is Alex and I am the founder and owner of Encore Photography.
I was born and raised in Athens, Greece. After school, I moved to Wales and graduated three years later from Bangor University with a Computer Science degree.
After my graduation, I moved to London where I lived for a year, and completed my MA in Photography at Goldsmiths University of London.

I have always been involved with photography and in the past years, this occupation became my true love. I am obsessed with photographing humans. People to me are the second nature of the photograph itself. They are the ones that offer the character, the emotion, the moment. A person's face has a lot to tell. So much, that portraiture will always remain in the frontline of photography.

My area of work is portraiture, in studio or on location, with emphasis on fashion-inspired themes with a touch of a more conceptual feel that drifts apart from commerce. Essentially, I can work in numerous fields and genres and am open to discussion with my clients as to how to reach the desired results!
