I have turned a long time interest in both figure painting and landscape into a combination I call the Free Spirit series. I am particularly interested in depicting harmony between the human model and the Nature around her.

A model accompanies me to the woods, or other locations like the canyons of Utah. I shoot photos for reference, and create the final watercolor image in my studio. See my website for samples of the paintings.

I don't consider myself a pro photographer, but as I continue to work with various models on interior shoots as well as the outdoor scenes, some of my photos are excellent. So I am beginning to seek exhibition for the photo sets as well.
