I have been in the beauty industry for 12 years. I am a licensed cosmetologist and a skin care therapist. I have loved makeup since I was young. I remember my stepfather telling my mother that I look like a clown when I first began to wear makeup. I cried myself to sleep that night but I wasn't discouraged. Upon finishing my training as a cosmetologist, I was hired at a very high end day spa where I was a nail technician. One day we had a bridal makeup application and all the estheticians were busy. I volunteered to do it. From that moment, I was promoted to Head Makeup artist. I would be sent to classes to learn the latest trends and then train the estheticians. I started an on-site bridal makeup business that was becoming quite successful. Due to a family emergency, I had to relocate and was forced to let my business go. Now I am looking to take my passion to the next level
