Antonio White (born July 23, 1987), better known by his stage name KANIN (pronounced Can’in), is an American rapper from Compton, California. He has released many songs and mixtapes, including the “I Go By The Name Kanin” series, his most Recent project, “Old School New Sense”, and most popular single, “WinnerCircle”, featuring Kendrick Lamar. Kanin is also featured on various blog sites such as HotNewHipHop, 2dopeBoyz and XXLmagazine just to name a few.

At the age of sixteen Kanin played a small role in a low budget film called “Victims of the Ghetto”, written and directed by his uncles Jules Dupree and Antonio White. Kanin got to experience the “on set” lifestyle and the behind the scenes of film and music at a young age. His father Ralo White, helped build several studios and shoot many low budget films. This played a major part in Kanins’ interest and perception of the entertainment business. He became very creative, independent, and started to pursue a career in music. Kanin plans to take the independent route in the music business; his entrepreneurship has landed him many up and coming opportunities that his fans have yet to see.
