About Me

I am a Chicago based photographer currently studying fine art photography at Columbia College Chicago. Starting with a deep rooted love for fashion and art, I soon fell in love with fashion, documentary, and street photography. Inspired by the works of Nan Goldin, Helmut Newton, and Philip-Lorca diCorcia, I believe in a directoral approach to portraiture. The image is the photographer's and thus he or she must construct it to their likings. I strive to find a balance between the art of crafting one's photographic image and the journalistic nature of photography.
