Javier Lopez, otherwise known as the Glam God, studied at the Carsten Aveda Institute of New York. He is an accomplished makeup artist with over 10 years’ experience in video, print, fashion, weddings and men’s grooming. He anxiously learned in school, but continued to master his craft over the years by working for luxury brands such as, MAC and Chanel cosmetics as a national makeup artist. In his free time, he enjoys teaching private lessons where he shares his makeup, hair, fashion styling skills and techniques.

Within the last five years Javier has stepped onto the entertainment scene making a huge impact. Lopez has graced the faces of some of the most celebrated people within the entertainment industry including P-Diddy, Fantasia, Jazmine Sullivan _____. His work has also been featured on American Idol, BET, MTV, and Good Day America. Recently, he did a piece that was included the Chanel Runway Fall Collection fashion show, where he displayed not only his talent as a makeup artist but, also as a hair stylist.

Javier stands out from other artists because of his ability to understand the elements of video/photographic makeup. His flawless makeup techniques do not discriminate against any age, gender, ethnicity or character portrayal, all the while making it look effortless. Lopez has earned the name Glam God not only because of his ravishing makeup skills, but his capability to transform a client’s complete look beyond makeup, including hair and style. More importantly he helps his clients eliminate their doubts and apprehensions about applying makeup which encourages them to continue to achieve alluring results on their own.
