My passion for photography started in the mid-1980s shooting film and developing the black and white prints in my own darkroom. Initially, I focused on travel photography shooting all over the world. Later, after I transitioned into digital in the early 2000 time frame, I shot high school sports for a number of years, a few weddings, and quinceañeras.

Only recently have I moved to working with models. As it stands now, my portfolio represents my experience level shooting models. I'm learning this new skill set and expect that over time I will improve.

I have few limitations in terms of how a model looks. My goal is to make that particular model look as good as I can. This means I'm happy to shoot male or female models, traditional or plus sized models, girl next door, or alternative looks. If you have a particular need for your portfolio, let me know and I'll do my best to include it in the shoot.

I don't do erotic or nude photography. It's just not in my skill set. My goal is to make the model feel comfortable and safe. I also want to see that any model I work with walks away with a set of the best prints I can provide. I consider my work with models to be a professional relationship and I promise to treat you with respect. I expect the same treatment from you.

If I comment on someone's photograph, it's because I genuinely appreciated some aspect of the shot. I do not expect and there is no need to leave a pro-forma return comment on any of my shots.
