About Me

To provide a profile into my character and the reasoning of why I would like the challenge of entering a path so diverse to my initial intent still profounds my mind.

I was born in Knysna on the 29 July 1996. A notable boy I thrived on the rugby field and participating in off road quad biking. My first memorable challenge was completing the Quad 4 Quads when I was 10. It was a long haul from Johannesburg to Durban over a 4 day period. I will be turning 18 on the 29 July and undoubtedly still prefer the outdoors and quality living. I am committed to my rigorous and fulfilling gym sessions and participate minimum 5 days a week.
Growing up my assumption would be to study to become a Pilot and eventually a Captain with a prestigious airline. I have had the opportunity to fly and correspond with a Pilot instructor but over the past year my passion for flying has not been as intense. I am a firm believer that one needs to have passion to succeed and to succeed one must have passion hence my path has detoured slightly.

My brother in law entered the modelling world for a brief moment and has told the tale of regret. He was offered a few prestigious shoots but declined them due to his ‘travelling the world’ needs. My mother casually suggested that I should have a professional portfolio done as she had taken a few photos of me at home and noted ‘I looked notably hot’ (her words). She then kindly showed her friends possibly her staff and they were adamant I should give it a bash. My mother (as always) investigated who the best photographer in Port Elizabeth was and contacted Paul Wright. Paul immediately made me feel welcome and we hit the streets of Port Elizabeth for my first shoot! I felt fantastic. Picture it...first time in front of a camera / main street / hordes of people / cars…bliss. I felt a connection with the camera lense and the vibe of just being something or someone without concern. Paul certainly made it easier.
After viewing the first few pictures that Paul took I was surprised at how relaxed I looked. Modelling on ramp or in front of the camera was not a career I would have initially chosen however the satisfaction that comes with the package is phenomenal. I would like to persevere and walk this path until I find the destiny and challenge I know is mine.
