About Me

Dagmar Paulova was born in the town of Humenne, Slovakia. Having an interest in photography from early age on, Dagmar spent her formative years working in the dark room. She learned about and drew her inspiration from artists like Helmut Newton, Lillian Bassman and Jan Saudek, a Czech photographer. Having acquired a passion for photography , Dagmar relocated to New York City to pursue her career. During the past few years Dagmar has concentrated her creative efforts on expending her editorial and fine arts, attracting the attention of private art collectors. Dagmar is fascinated by the human body , specifically the female form and this has naturally lead her to fashion photography, which she delivers with the creativity and grace of her fine arts foundation. Dagmar has studied photography at FIT and ICP.
