About Me

❝I didn’t choose photography. Photography chose me.❞ ~ Gerardo Suter

I had that thing for photography the very first moment i picked up vintage camera that belonged to my grandfather, though I had not taken it seriously until i managed to have the fund's to start out on my own. It was a grand adventure starting off with nothing more then an old 35mm film camera god only knows why brand nothing more then a relic now, that I used to take pictures of family events and while traveling. It was very basic and simple, all I used to do is press the button, never thought of anything else just the creation of an everlasting image.

Then life took me to a different path and kinda forgot all about photography. Not until 2008 that I decided to take photography up as a serious hobby. I started with a very simple FujiFilm FinePix S700 7.1 Mega Pixels, was so excited and unlike my earlier attempts with photography, this time I was so eager to know everything about the camera I got and learn more about photography. So, I basically started to explore my camera, how it functions, what each mode is for, and started to teach myself all about photography from different online resources, tutorials and videos.

Somehow, at that time, I wasn’t encouraged much to join a specialized photography organization or community to get more training. To some extent, that still applies. Now, that doesn’t mean, different organizations, clubs and communities are not good enough, on the contrary, they are VERY professional, I follow all their news and programs online, and learn from all of them. I just seem not wanting to belong to one group only.

I began to develop myself and tried different types of photography till I realized the types I find myself in more. I’m mostly into artistic photography, abstract, conceptual, poetic, macros/close-ups and still-life. I've found my self mostly doing time for print's for friends that are aspiring models, either it be a "Rock-a-Billy", Profession Theme, or simply of guard in the moment. I enjoy learning about all types of photography, I’m comfortable while shooting in any of my preferred styles I'm still very open.

After a while, I upgraded my gear to a Canon EOS Rebel T3i/600D DSLR and a set of professional lenses. I was hoping to take my photography to the next level and become a professional photographer. Even through the tough economy I've survived doing my own thing here and there while maintaining my primary career. I cant wait to see what we can create.
