Jermain Hollman moved to New York City after earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts (TV & Film) and a Master's degree in Public Relations from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in Long Island, New York. Jermain grew up in Westhampton Beach, New York where he excelled in athletics (baseball, track & field, and basketball), eventually earning a full basketball scholarship to NYIT. Jermain started acting in college, also producing and directing several small student films. Shortly after moving to New York City, he continued his studies at Gotham City Improv. There, he and former classmates created an improvisational troupe (The Wet Pajamas) that hosted several live performances in New York City. In addition to improv, Jermain has studied dramatic acting at Sedgwick-Russell Acting Studio under Robert Sedgwick and Catherine Russell.
