I've been in hobby photography for more than 20 years and am looking to expand outside my circle of friends, associates and family to create an ever-evolving portfolio. Seeking all kinds of photography opportunities. I welcome and encourage models to have accompaniment. My sessions are always easy-going; expect a few moments of laughter during the shoot no matter the topic.

Most of my photo shoots, by the client's preference/request, are fairly simple, no-frills events. I am looking, however, to branch out into the more artistic photo sessions as we compete with the online photo "editing" software. I use Photoshop to ensure my clients are pleased with the work I do.

I am always seeking someone with whom I can try new, creative poses with. I do pictures for all age groups; however I will only post photos of adults on my page.

A good 90% of my work is requested by and paid for by those who contact me. If I want to freshen my portfolio with a theme in which there is a gap, I will usually seek out a novice to moderately-experienced model and either trade for pictures or we'll all go out for dessert/light dinner (remember, I live in a rural area and usually my subjects, me and our escorts all know each other, so the after-shoot time is usually jovial and informal.) I have done my first branch-out with people I did not know at all this year - one was happy to be compensated with lunch and the pictures, while the other one was just happy to get out and about and pleased with the pictures.

All of my photo shoots are onsite sessions. I don't have a studio and have no plans to set one up. There are many cool places to take pictures and use for backdrops.

I am more than happy to compensate models with an agreed-to amount if and when that presents itself. It's just never come up to this point, but this is new ground I am happy to walk upon. Until now, people usually come to me for senior pictures, weddings, engagements, family shoots, etc. and treat me like a photographer providing services and they pay a modest stipend.
