Creativity runs in the family and I have always loved painting and photography from an early age. My journey into photography actually started from a desire to start filming short video clips. I found that many people at the time were starting to use DSLRs for video and I saw a 5 minute short film shot with a pentax k-x which had be captivated. From that point I had to get one for myself but the cost was not cheap and so a promise was made (to myself) that I could only get a DSLR if I studied some basics of photography beforehand. It was this decision that threw me into the world of photography and I haven’t looked back since.
I currently shoot lookbooks, product shots, street fashion and events for mayamada an upbeat brand that promotes creativity. Outside of that I enjoy still life and some landscape photography though it’s not my bread and butter.
Should you work with me you’ll find that I’m friendly, I’ve been described as nice by a lot of people though I think they are referring more to my politeness than anything else. I can joke about sometimes. One of my aims as a fashion photographer is to relate to models in a way such that they are comfortable and bring out their best self on set.
