Heyyyy!!!! Well, let’s start with the introduction! My name is Beverly May, I am 30 years old and a California licensed Cosmetologist (fancy word for hairstylist ;) ) I have been doing hair for well over 10 years now and I love it with a burning passion! I LOVEEEE Doing hair! Hair is my passion. It’s what I feel I was put on this earth to do. I have been playing in hair ever since I was a little girl. I remember going to the salon and watching the stylist then going home and trying to recreate what they did. Of course it looked nothing like their work at the time but you couldn’t tell me it didn’t lol. I have come a looonngg way since then.

In the past 10+ years, I have been so blessed to have been able to showcase my skills in many settings such as; fashion shows, hair shows, photoshoots, music videos and movie sets. Hey, and my hair skills vary from extensions, relaxers, cuts, colors, children, locs, braids etc. But what I REALLY take pride in is maintaining healthy hair for all of my clients. I believe in not only building a relationship with my clients but to build a relationship with the hair as well. The best way to treat hair is to know hair. I keep a steady flow of clients and I can promise you I am NOT one of those hair stylists that overbook. I believe everyone should have their own personal time slot so that I can cater to their individual hair needs.

I have recently worked some of my magic in one of the biggest hair shows in Los Angeles County “The Hair show”, as well as worked with upcoming RnB Singer S.Jae. I have also had the pleasure of working on the set of the upcoming movie “Potiphar’s Wife”, “Live-a-Legacy Hollywood Concert” fashion show as well as a music video shoot for Hip-Hop artist NAPALLM. Some of my future projects detail styling talent for future projects including four movie productions with VEL Productions and various photo shoots. I also enjoy working with charity events as well as hair shows where I can express my creativity.

Since the move to Virginia, I have done a few weddings, WAVY 10 TV Meteorologist as well as a few photoshoots and models. Though I love to have my one-on-one with my beautiful clients, it’s something about major events that ignites the creativity spark in me. I will also be expanding my skills soon by adding makeup artistry to my list of many talents! My goal is to be your “one stop shop” for all of your beauty needs.
