James T. Jordan is a native of Philadelphia, Pa. While growing up he always been passionate about the creation of beauty. In 2005, he began his career working for the major global hair brand, Aveda. At Aveda, he was highly trained in the use of quality ingredients to achieve healthy, beautiful, manageable hair. He was also certified and became a part of the Aveda Professional Makeup Team doing makeup events and runways shows in Philly, New Jersey, and New York. He moved on to pursue a full time career as a hair stylist. The skills that he learned has made him a professional in hair care. He also became a hair cutting specialist, focusing on precision hair cutting that compliments the features of each client.

James received his formal education in cosmetology at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in Philadelphia. He has had the opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by some of the premiere stylist in the Philadelphia area. To further cultivate his artistic skill set he has made continuing education in advanced hair coloring, advanced haircutting, and hairstyling a priority. He has been taught by professional brands such as Aveda, Redken, Lakme, Bernaes Group, Influance, Mike Karg, Nick Arrojo and of course Ted Gibson Beauty.

He has a burning passion for the beauty industry. He is now focused on expanding his career to include Editorial Hairstyling and Special Occasion hairstyling. He is dedicated to stamping the world with the “James Jordan” brand that is synonymous with Beauty, Service and Creativity.
