About me as a person:
I was born and raised in Cologne, Germany and came to Santa Catarina state, Brazil for my studies.
Although apparently not linked to my work as a model I’d like to mention how this experience turned me more independent and determined. For those of you who know, doing a federal “vestibular”-test to enter Brazil’s universities takes a lot of hard work, especially for a stranger. It was around the time I had managed to pass, that, encouraged to follow my goals, I decided to expand another passion which until then had appeared impossible to realize: working as a model. During the two years I’ve been travelling between Brazil and Europe I was already able to gain some experience. By means of “model-kartei.de” I’ve worked with several photographers and got in touch with some local agencies.
When they told me about this page as a possible way to continue my hobby/work in Brazil I got impressed by the high-quality samples of all your projects here. Congrats at this place!


My attitude towards my work:
As to most of you people here, modeling means far more to me than “getting some beautiful pictures of oneself”. I see the interaction between photographer and portrayed person, the thousands and one combinations of black and white, the use of light and shadow, of tissue and skin as a way to express myself in all the different facets that compose me. Or maybe even in a way I wouldn’t have dared to see myself.
That might be something pretty easy, or a highly complicated set. Something planned until the last detail or a spontaneous shot in between. Because what most fascinates me is how the intention to bann emotions, thoughts, ideas, situations -whatever- onto paper (or nowadays more accurately into pixels) offers endless possibilities, so that you might even get surprised by your own project.

I seem to sound like a photographer to you? Well, I’ve tried it some times, but came to the conclusion that I feel more comfortable in front of the lense. And that this is also more favourable for the outcome ;-)
Nevertheless these few experiences help me to understand “the other part” a little better.

So, practically, this means a Shoot is something special to me. I don’t always have a specific idea on my head and I don’t necessarily expect this from the photographer. But I try to give my pictures a story, a meaning. Sometimes the result is the complete opposite of what I expected and sometimes I don’t understand at all what I like about this particular one.
Although I can get pretty perfectionist about some details I guess working with me is fun :-) And don’t worry, if I say I have my own ideas, this doesn’t mean I’m not open to yours. Contrarely, I estimate a creative, innovative, and maybe even extravagant photographer. Although I also wouldn’t say no to a simple Portrait-Shoot, since even those may get spectacular.

Me besides fashion-business:
I love art in general, be it architecture, design or paintings. I have also enjoyed a complete theatre/acting formation, still one of my big hobbies, but unfortunately I am finding way less time to carry it out. Besides my studies I work in a dance-team, like to be outside doing sports or just enjoying life and travel a lot.

I’m not looking for any shoots that are paid from my side. I absolutely see your point that equipment, practice and studio were investments you had to take, but please understand that I have left this phase behind me.
