Thönnesen Photography features the artwork of Taryn and Micah Thönnesen. Subjects are captured from multiple viewpoints using unique angles in the form of digital photography. Illustrative, glamour, performance artists, senior, and family portraits are available. Landscape, still life, wildlife/animals, pinup and graphic art prints are also for sale.


Custom portraits are shot on location outdoors in Athens, Hull, Watkinsville, and Comer, Georgia, with travel notices posted online when the team plans on shooting in other areas. Wardrobe/props may be provided for certain shoots by stylist and creative director, Taryn Thönnesen.


With her degree in studio art, along with her previous theater and modeling experience, Taryn possess a unique perspective when shooting portraiture. Athens native Micah Thönnesen is a self-taught digital photographer with an instinctive and creative eye for the ambiance of a photograph.


Together and individually, Taryn and Micah can tell a story through the camera's eye, using color, imagination, nature and costuming to draw you into the world being portrayed.


Sessions are only available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
