Hey there,

My name is Gemma Armstrong, Im 22 & I live in Shellharbour which is located about 2 hours drive from central.
I am currently a student at the Academy Of Makeup in Sydney, Studying my diploma in Special Effects Makeup, Which I absolutely love! My reasons for deciding to makeup was 50% interest in makeup it's self & 50% wanting to meet new people & make friends.
Doing this course is the only experience I have In the makeup industry (other than mucking around with friends) However, I did study hairdressing for a year when I was 17, But decided it wasn't for me, although I do enjoy it here & there.

My goal is to hopefully make it into doing makeup for movies, starting out here then hopefully (fingers crossed) make it to America applying Special Effects mainly but ANY makeup would be great!

My favorite thing at the moment would have to be airbrushing & just getting to apply a design where I get to be really creative & different.


So, If you have any helpful hints or tips I am all ears & would appreciate any advice :)
