My name is Lex and I am 420-friendly model from the LA/OC, California area. I had my first shoot in the spring of 2010 and the experience motivated me to want to continue modeling in the future. Unfortunately, shortly after that, I began losing the use of my legs (forcing me to use a wheelchair for long distances but I have recently gotten to the point where I can use a cane to go short distances and can go even further if using crutches, I can even stand completely on my own for approximately 15 minutes at a time [in heals], sometimes even more without letting the pain show through my expressions [depending on how cold it is]) before needing a moment to rest due to a severe case of CRPS/RSD. Because of this, I took a break from just about everything and have been focusing my energy on getting better. Unfortunately, that's taking MUCH longer than anticipated. One day I decided I was done waiting on my recovery in order to just get my life started. I decided to continue to persue modeling regardless of my condition and I'm really happy with my decision. I've become very good at not letting my "disability" get in the way of a shoot. Professionalism and respect are extremely important to me. I'm always polite, respectful, and I take direction well. I'm the type of person who doesn't mind being uncomfortable, or even in pain, for the sake of a shoot. I would like to be a part of the Model Mayhem community in order to meet others in the industry and further my career as a model.
