Michelle McSwain has been photographing professionally since 2006. Having grown up around the farms of Kentucky, she has always had a love for bright light and the outdoors. Upon moving to New York City in 2007, her style developed into one that is enchanting and romantic, reminiscent of her childhood days in the Kentucky sun. She has worked freelance for several years with The New York Times and Yahoo doing photo editing and retouching. Michelle has done photography for Nike, Zara, Barkbox, AMC Networks, and several other companies.

In 2015, she co-founded the mobile app company Pablo, known for its long exposure video technology. Previously, she co-invented the first ever light painting photobooth LightBomber. Michelle has traveled globally for her photography and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with her fiancé and adopted dog, Julep.
