Derek Cloonan is a makeup artist based out of Brooklyn, NY. As a child, Derek grew up staring in wonder at the Predator, the Alien and the assortment of horrors from The Thing. Growing up watching these creatures left a lasting impression on him and after a brief stint as a bass player, Derek decided to begin a career as a professional make up artist. Derek attended the Make-up Designory in Manhattan where he developed and refined his skills in special effects as well as natural and beauty makeup. Derek currently works in the tristate area as a freelance makeup artist.
