I came into makeup art from my background as an artist. I'm a trained airbrush artist, so I was interested in using the airbrush for makeup artistry. I also worked for Bareminerals, where I found that I actually prefer the use of traditional brushes for makeup art.

As a freelance artist I love pushing the limits between art and makeup for fashion type photo shoots and even some special FX, but I also enjoy working on a bride to make her groom's jaw drop when she comes down the aisle or giving teenagers skin and makeup advice while making them stand out for a dance or the prom.

When I'm not applying makeup, I'm busy as a portrait artist.
